Hikes For National Trails Day 2008 we offered several different hikes. List below are the hikes along with directions: Sulphur Spring: Take 15th st N towards Black Eagle. 15th st N becomes US-87. Take a right at Morony Dam Road, further down the road will be a sign for Sulphur Spring Parking. Tower Rock: It is between Craig and Pelican Point. The east side of Tower Rock is visible from I-15 and can be accessed by using Exit 247 at hardy Creek. First People's Buffalo Jump: 10 miles south of Great Falls on I-15 at Ulm Exit, then 3.5 miles northwest of Ulm-Vaughn road. Rainbow Dam: Take 15th st N towards Black Eagle. Turn right onto Rainbow Dam Rd. End at Rainbow Dam. Benton Lake: To get to the refuge, follow Highway 87 (Havre Highway) north out of Great Falls, Montana for about a mile, then turn left onto Bootlegger Trail. Travel approximately 9 miles to the well-marked Refuge entrance on the left.
